In this episode we are introduced to the Japanese American Museum of San José and hear from a Sansei (third generation Japanese American) on how her family endured the Heart Mountain Internment Camp while her father was recruited into the U.S. Army to interrogate Japanese prisoners of war. We will also hear about the bravery of the 442nd Regiment and the 100th Infantry Battalion composed of second generation (Nisei)Japanese American soldiers and the most decorated unit in U.S. military history.
